Factors affecting labor productivity: case of AUREOLE DMS CO., LTD.

Abstract

Increasing labor productivity is the way to enrich each country and each member of society. For businesses, labor productivity is the core of existence and sustainable development. From the results of the survey conducted for subjects who are part of the direct production department of ADMS company with 270 questionnaires issued, the author uses statistical tools in SPSS software such as: Descriptive statistics, Cronbach's Alpha, EFA, correlation and regression to evaluate the scales and test the research hypotheses. The research results show that the four initially- proposed factors including (1) Working conditions; (2) Training and development; (3) Production management; and (4) Individual factors have a positive influence on labor productivity. In particular, the factor "Production management" has the highest influence on labor productivity. Research results can serve as a basis for proposing solutions to help businesses improve labor productivity, thereby enhancing competitiveness in the current business environment.
